Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this remarkable event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s riding group rides every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
